Coronavirus: 150 new cases, no additional deaths

The Shelby County Health Department reported 150 new coronavirus cases on Thursday, April 22, and no new deaths.

Shelby County’s reported coronavirus total is now 94,219 cases, including 90,943 inactive cases, 1,676 active cases and 1,600 deaths.

The Tennessee Department of Health releases statewide coronavirus figures at 2 p.m. Monday through Friday.

As of Wednesday, Tennessee’s coronavirus total was 837,833 cases, including 12,111 deaths, 917 current hospitalizations and 812,546 inactive cases.

About 7.5 million coronavirus tests have been performed in Tennessee.
