Coronavirus: New cases back over 100

After three days in a row of new cases under 100, the Shelby County Health Department reported more than 100 new cases on Thursday, May 20.

The Shelby County Health Department reported 109 new coronavirus cases and no new coronavirus-related deaths on Thursday.

The 109 cases come from 1,993 tests, giving the day a positivity rate of 5.5%.

Shelby County’s reported coronavirus total is now 97,870 cases, including 94,989 inactive cases, 1,233 active cases and 1,648 deaths.
