(T)he whereabouts of Ernie Anderson are unknown and cannot be ascertained by diligent search and inquiry; the ordinary process of law cannot be served upon him.
IT IS THEREFORE ORDERED The Department shall serve Ernie Anderson notice of this proceeding via publication in the Daily News, a Memphis, Tennessee newspaper.
Clerk’s Notice to Respondent:
The Department of Children’s Services has filed a Petition against you seeking a finding of dependency and neglect. It appears that ordinary process of law cannot be served upon you because your whereabouts are unknown. In order to avoid a judgement by Default against you, you must appear in Court or file an answer to the Petition filed against you. The date being the 15th of September 2025 at 9:00 A.M. All future hearings/or documents filed in this cause shall be filed with the Clerk and shall be considered as service upon you. You may request all pleadings filed in this cause from the Clerk of Court
Service of notice of these proceedings shall occur for four (4) consecutive weeks in the Daily News of Memphis, Tennessee as your whereabouts are unknown.
