PUBLIC NOTICE
The Air Pollution Control Board (“the Board”) for Memphis-Shelby County, Tennessee, will hold a public meeting on October 8, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. The meeting will take place at the Code Enforcement Offices, located at 6465 Mullins Station Road, Memphis, Tennessee 38134.
The agenda for the meeting includes the following matters:
- High Point Funeral Home & Crematorium
3788 Summer Avenue
Appeal of a civil penalty assessed for violation of the City of Memphis Code, Section 16-77, referencing the Rules and Regulations of Tennessee 1200-3-9-.02 (Operating Permits).
- Mid South Crematory
3774 Summer Avenue
Appeal of a civil penalty assessed for violation of the City of Memphis Code, Section 16-77, referencing the Rules and Regulations of Tennessee 1200-3-9-.02 (Operating Permits).
Materials related to these agenda items are available for public review Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., at the Shelby County Health Department, Air Pollution Section, located at 1826 Sycamore View Road, Memphis, Tennessee 38134.
Individuals with disabilities who wish to review the materials or participate in the meeting should contact the Department to discuss any auxiliary aids or services needed to facilitate access.
At the outset of the hearing, the public will have an opportunity to provide comments on the matters before the Board.
The Board may affirm, modify, or reverse the Department’s enforcement actions based on the evidence presented during the hearing. All Board decisions are made in accordance with the City of Memphis Code and applicable Tennessee air regulations.
