The Memphis Grizzlies will face the Minnesota Timberwolves on Saturday, April 23, for Game 4 of Round 1 of the 2022 NBA Playoffs. 

Kyle Anderson said the key to closing out a playoff series is to remain focused, but play with a sense of urgency.

Grizzlies coach Taylor Jenkins said he didn’t know how the team came back twice to beat the Timberwolves in Game 3. Could that be because he didn’t realize all the totally loony things Memphis fans were doing to get the victory? 

“Hometown booing him,” Tre Jones, Tyus Jones’ brother, tweeted. “They sick.” Yes, they were. But Tyus Jones was all smiles. 

The Grizzlies came back from two massive deficits to stun the Minnesota Timberwolves. Just don’t ask coach Taylor Jenkins to explain how they did it. Even he doesn’t quite know. 

These Grizzlies will be remembered for their gutsy performance, as well as being the Timberwolves’ tormentors.

The Memphis Grizzlies will face the Minnesota Timberwolves for Game 3 of Round 1 in the NBA playoffs tonight at 6:30 p.m. The series is currently tied 1-1. 

The Memphis Grizzlies finished with the third-best road record in the league this year, 26-15. 

Ja Morant’s film study and Taylor Jenkins’ gut fostered the Game 2 win. But the Grizzlies are shifting to enemy territory and potential new hindrances.

The Memphis Grizzlies defeated the Minnesota Timberwolves 124-96 in Game 2 of Round 1 in the 2022 NBA playoffs. Both teams will meet again in Game 3 Thursday, April 21, at 6:30 p.m. The series is currently tied 1-1. 

With six minutes left in the game, everyone at FedExForum was dancing to “Whoop that Trick.” Including little Kaari Morant. It was that kind of triumphant night.

A 28-point rout, a big adjustment, and a third-quarter explosion that felt somewhere between an exhalation and an exorcism following Saturday night’s Game 1 disappointment.

 The Memphis Grizzlies will face the Minnesota Timberwolves in Game 2 of the first round in the NBA playoffs tonight at 7:30. Minnesota currently leads 1-0. 

Feeling a little queasy, Grizzlies fans? That’s understandable. But you can take heart that the players themselves don’t seem to be nervous. According to coach Taylor Jenkins, they’re just “pissed.”

Ja Morant won’t call Game 2 a must-win for the Grizzlies because he believes that sort of pressure is not healthy for the team. 

 The Memphis Grizzlies will face the Minnesota Timberwolves in Game 2 of the first round in the NBA playoffs on Tuesday, April 19. 

Ja Morant sure did get Timberwolves and Grizzlies fans fired up for Game 2 when he took to the ’Gram and shared a two-part post.

In Game 1, Ja Morant was good and Anthony Edwards was better, but that’s not what seemed to determine the outcome. Rather, it was the Grizzlies problem-solving too slowly and too ineffectively in the frontcourt. What will Game 2 bring?

Brandon Clarke believes the Grizzlies will be fine. They will have to prove that in Game 2; otherwise it will be an extremely uphill battle to advance. 

Ja Morant is a Most Improved Player finalist, and if he makes the All-NBA team, he would be eligible for a super-max contract extension this summer.
