The early bubble playoff talk was about the high-profile veterans, but it looks as if it's the younger faces making the noise.

Eventually the Grizzlies will spend their draft assets. Now might not be the time. 

After five years, the debt on Jeff Green is finally paid ... unless it's not. Some draft projections have Precious Achiuwa slipping. And broadcaster Thom Brennaman has probably silenced himself for a while.

Because of the 2015 Jeff Green trade, Memphis will dispatch pick No. 14 for the 2020 draft to Boston.

The balls will have to fall perfectly if they hope to hold on to their first-round pick. 

The VP of basketball operations makes rare public statements on the team, as well as injuries to Ja Morant, Tyus Jones and Jaren Jackson Jr.

Elliot Perry will be representing the team in the draft again, just like he did last year. But there's no anxiety this time around. 

Hopefully Ja Morant's spectacular performance in the playoff game is enough to hold Grizzlies fans over until next season, whenever that might be.
