Grizzlies coach Taylor Jenkins called game clock mistake in Friday’s loss to the Lakers “a shock to everybody.”

Coach Taylor Jenkins didn’t promise a win, not with this roster against this opponent. He only promised that the guys he was putting out there would play their tails off. Mission accomplished.

Although a major win for the Memphis Grizzlies point guard, it is only temporary. The case will likely move on, either over self-defense or Tennessee’s “stand-your-ground” law.

When the congregation of GG Jackson’s church loaded a bus to Memphis, the Grizzlies’ team chaplain opened the doors to his church for worship.

The Grizzlies’ 13-game winning streak against the Spurs ended on Tuesday when 13 Memphis players sat out with injuries.

A new deal has been struck to fund the FedExForum renovations, according to a draft agreement obtained The Daily Memphian.

Pippen played more than 30 minutes on Saturday against Philadelphia just a few weeks after missing a month with an injury serious enough to keep him from moving at all. 

A bill to complete the financing remains pending at the Tennessee General Assembly.
