The Memphis Grizzlies completed one last round of interviews before heading out for the summer. Here are the major highlights. 

Ja Morant didn’t need to recruit Derrick Rose’s son to play on his AAU program. PJ Rose was texting his dad begging to get on it.

Although a major win for the Memphis Grizzlies point guard, it is only temporary. The case will likely move on, either over self-defense or Tennessee’s “stand-your-ground” law.

When the congregation of GG Jackson’s church loaded a bus to Memphis, the Grizzlies’ team chaplain opened the doors to his church for worship.

The Grizzlies’ 13-game winning streak against the Spurs ended on Tuesday when 13 Memphis players sat out with injuries.

A new deal has been struck to fund the FedExForum renovations, according to a draft agreement obtained The Daily Memphian.

Pippen played more than 30 minutes on Saturday against Philadelphia just a few weeks after missing a month with an injury serious enough to keep him from moving at all. 

A bill to complete the financing remains pending at the Tennessee General Assembly.
