Here’s part two of a mammoth Mid-Season Grizzlies Mailbag. Last week’s part one covered a lot of territory. 

Even if it validated criticisms, GG Jackson vowed to be honest during NBA Draft interviews. Now he’s backing up his promises.

The Grizzlies’ offense sputtered without their stars in a 125-96 loss to the Bulls on Saturday at the United Center.

The Memphis Grizzlies had a notable visitor at shootaround on Saturday morning at the United Center as the Grizzlies prepared to face the Chicago Bulls.

“We have to play with that edge, home or away, and that togetherness. I thought (against Minnesota) it was really good. In the fourth quarter we had a little bit of slippage, but overall, I’m really impressed,” Taylor Jenkins said. 

Jaren Jackson Jr. had a game-high 36 points on 15-23 shooting, connecting on 3-6 from 3-point range and aggressively attacked Minnesota center Rudy Gobert, the once and likely future Defensive Player of the Year.

Scottie Pippen’s son appeared in 17 games for the South Bay Lakers during the 2023-24 NBA G League Showcase and regular season.

At first, Vince Williams Jr. was viewed by players across the league as a two-way player making the most of his opportunity. But, after months of putting out the same production, he’s starting to be noticed by several opponents. 

The Grizzlies showed Monday night that even with a team full of youngsters, anyone can wear the superhero mask.
