The Warriors proclaimed themselves ‘Gold Blooded’ on the T-shirts they gave out. The Grizzlies’ early offensive surge proved to be fool’s gold.
Ja Morant was injured in the fourth quarter after Warriors guard Jordan Poole pulled on his knee. Grizzlies coach Taylor Jenkins said he will be speaking with front office executive Zach Kleiman about the next step.
Memphis is down 2-1 in the Western Conference semifinals, but more worrisome than anything is Ja Morant’s knee, as the point guard left the game early and headed to the locker room, limping.
