The Tigers hit the road to take on Temple in Philadelphia at 2 p.m. Sunday, just four days after falling to UCF 107-104 in double overtime on Wednesday.

With only four chances remaining for the Tigers to grab Quad 1 or 2 wins, they’ve learned quickly that nothing they set out to do will come easily.

Kendric Davis scored 42 points against Central Florida Wednesday, which was great. But if the Memphis Tigers had done what they should have done before the game lurched into two overtimes, they’d have something much sweeter: A win.

For the third consecutive game, Memphis came out flat against an opponent it should’ve had no problem putting away early.

After a New Year’s Day road loss to Tulane in which it gave up nearly 100 points, Memphis returns to FedExForum to face ECU at 1 p.m. Saturday.
