The new-look Tigers begin their 2023-24 season with what is expected to be one of the easier matchups in their 13-game non-conference slate.

The Tigers have aspirations of being an AP Top 25 team for much of the regular season and making a deep NCAA Tournament run. They’ve got plenty of talent, but can they do it?

“We’re confident that we’re going to come out on the top side,” said Pat McCain, Williams’ uncle and business manager, to The San Diego Union-Tribune on Friday.

Williams appeared in El Cajon (California) Superior Court on Friday for his rescheduled arraignment.
