The Lake District has added a new women’s clothing store to its lineup of retail tenants called Chosen Lines Boutique.

Owned by sisters Gabby Glenn and Autumn Glenn, the store will be 1,800 square feet and located in the retail inline space now under construction in phase 1 of The Lake District.

The store will feature young women’s lines of clothing that will be unique to the area. Chosen Lines will also have an online shop and a shipping feature available once the store is open.

Gabby Glenn chose The Lake District due to its location off Interstate 40 and Canada Road and the growth demographics.

“We know how underserved Lakeland is and there is so much growth happening in and around Lakeland that we want to be a part of it,” Glenn said.

The new schools in Lakeland that are getting ranked as best in the state were also a factor in her location decision.

“Young families are flocking to Lakeland and our store will be a place where young women want to shop and hang out. We love the other co-tenants at the development and think it will be a draw for entertainment and shopping,” she said.

Chosen Lines Boutique will open in the spring of 2021. It and other retail locations will be anchored by the grocery store, The Stock Market.

Following retail construction will be 104 townhouses.

The Lake District is a 160-acre mixed-use residential, retail and entertainment development and the first “golf cart” community of its kind in the region.

Once completed, an estimated 2,000 residents will live at The Lake District in townhouses, single-family homes and apartments over retail.

“There is something for everyone here at The Lake District and we are happy to have a women’s boutique like this joining our list of other great tenants,” said Maggie Gallagher, director of business development for The Lake District.
