After tragic week, A2H is picked for big design project

A week after the accidental deaths of a longtime employee and his daughter, A2H is picked over 18 other firms to design the new, $41 million STEM Research and Classroom Building at the University of Memphis.

Tom Bailey retired in January as a business reporter at The Daily Memphian, and after 40 years in journalism. A Tupelo, Mississippi, native, he graduated from Mississippi State University. He has lived in Midtown for 36 years.
