Calkins: Collierville High suspends football games — but this isn’t about Collierville

Calkins has been named the best sports columnist in the country five times by the Associated Press sports editors, but still figures his best columns are about the people who make Memphis what it is.
Two individuals "specific to" the football team have tested positive for COVID-19. But the story is less about this school than the unnecessary risks inherent to high school football.
