West Memphis gets Chick-fil-A

Jonathan Cardwell, a 28-year-old Memphis native, is opening a Chick-fil-A location in West Memphis at 6 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 3.

Drive-thru, curbside pick-up and third-party delivery will be available for customers. The location’s hours are 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Saturday.

The restaurant’s address is 206 W. Service Road.

It will employ about 120 full and part-time staff.

Cardwell, who previously opened a Chick-fil-A location in Jackson, Tennessee’s Old Hickory Mall, first was employed at Chick-fil-A while a teenager.

He also worked at Chick-fil-A, in Oxford, while enrolled at the University of Mississippi.
