The AAC announced its all-conference teams Tuesday, and five Memphis Tigers received honors.

Wide receiver Calvin Austin III and defensive lineman O’Bryan Goodson made first-team All-AAC.

Austin had 1,025 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns on just 60 receptions. Goodson produced 28 tackles, four sacks and two forced fumbles.

Safety Quindell Johnson was named second-team All-AAC. He led Memphis in tackles with 70 and tied for a team-high three interceptions, all in the last three games of the regular season.

Tight end Sean Dykes and defensive lineman Morris Joseph were selected as honorable mentions. Dykes was third on the team in receiving with 581 yards and seven touchdowns. Joseph had 42 tackles, a team-high seven sacks and a forced fumble.

The most notable snub? Brady White, of course. White had a record-breaking season, becoming the Tigers’ all-time leader in passing yards and touchdowns and the most wins by a starting quarterback.

UCF’s Dillon Gabriel and Cincinnati’s Desmond Ridder were the only quarterbacks to receive all-conference honors.
