City’s COVID-19 website back up
Update: A little after 10 a.m., the city’s coronavirus website is back up, according to a tweet from the city of Memphis Twitter account. Appointments for next week will be available at noon.
The city of Memphis’ COVID-19 website was back up and running about 10 a.m. after some problems earlier Friday.
The city said it’s aware of the issue, and it’s unclear when the site will be back up. The website is one way Shelby County residents can schedule an appointment online for a coronavirus vaccine shot.
“We are aware that there is an issue with http://COVID19.memphistn.gov site. Our IT Dept. is working to resolve the problem,” the city tweeted Friday morning. “We apologize for the inconvenience.”
Residents can also call 222-7468(SHOT) between the hours of 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. to schedule a vaccine appointment.
