Williams appointment in clerk’s office delayed again by council
City Councilman Worth Morgan said the appointment of Calvin Williams as deputy clerk to city court clerk Myron Lowery was “difficult.” The council voted to delay the vote on Williams until the Jan. 4 meeting. (Daily Memphian file)
The delay by the city council came after Calvin Williams said he’s paid for his mistakes but insisted he never “mismanaged anything in government.”
