Vacant lot cultivated into tranquility park for New Chicago neighborhood
Residents of the New Chicago community gathered Friday, May 20, for a tree dedication ceremony at the new Kney Tranquility Park. The city’s Community Redevelopment Agency created the park as a neighborhood sanctuary. The CRA planted dogwood trees and flowers, and allowed residents to dedicate those trees.
