What impact could Ford’s charitable foundation have in the Mid-South?
In 2019, nearly 6,000 Ford employees in 34 countries around the world participated in Ford Global Caring Month, the signature annual event of the Ford Volunteer Corps. Ford employees helped make people’s lives better by renovating, building and mentoring at care centers, schools and shelters. Ford Fund also contributed $650,000 to buy tools and materials for many of the projects, freeing up valuable nonprofit resources to help more people. Pictured is a group of volunteers in Mexico. More than 70 years after founding its charitable arm, Ford Motor Co. has invested more than $2.2 billion in initiatives that provide basic needs and access to essential services, offer tools to build new skillsets and open pathways to employment.
