St. Francis Hospital-Memphis introduces first pet therapy dog
St. Francis Hospital patients weren’t the only people excited to see Lily, a therapy dog that made the rounds on Wednesday, Sept. 26. Even staff members have asked to see her, said Elliott Smith, community relations manager at St. Francis. “It’s good to have a pet, just to have something there that comforts you in the time of need,” he said.
