Kuhn was co-host of “Sportstime with Gabe & Stats” on WHBQ 560 AM/98.5 FM until last week, when he ended a four-year run with the competing sports talk radio station branded as Sports 56.

Originally from St. Louis, Kuhn was a three-sport athlete at Lafayette High in Wildwood, Missouri.

He was a four-year letterman for the Tigers, starting every game in which he played from 2014-17.

Kuhn, a former team captain and a University of Memphis journalism graduate, was a first-team All-AAC team pick as a senior in 2017.

He briefly spent time in a New Orleans Saints mini-camp and with the AAF’s Memphis Express, then spent three years producing Middays & Johnny Radio’s Happy Hour at Sports 56.

Parrish, a sports columnist and TV analyst for CBS Sports whose hometown is Memphis, announced on Dec. 23, 2022, that his 13-year run as a show host on 92.9 had come to a close.

Parrish moved to Grind City Media and the Memphis Grizzlies to host a show for the NBA franchise while also continuing to work for CBS as a college basketball writer/analyst and host of the Eye On College Basketball podcast. His new Grind City show is scheduled to launch in April.

“The Gary Parrish Show” was a staple on Memphis radio afternoon drive time since its inception in 2010.
