Olive Branch aldermen approve mixed-use development with retail, lofts
Elected officials also accept bid for new tornado sirens
Developer Mike Bailey is putting together two parcels to create a mixed-use development called Oak Park Town Center. The site at Goodman and Hacks Cross roads includes a 60-plus acre spot that was approved for a traditional shopping center in 2006. The developer's new vision puts one or more big-box stores in the center of the site, surrounded by outparcels. Off the main roads, the plan calls for loft apartments above retail stores. After years of delays because of changing conditions and economic setbacks, a development has changed for a site near Goodman and Hacks Cross roads.
