TCAP test: More than 75% of MSCS third graders are behind
The Tennessee Comprehensive Assessment Program (TCAP) scores announced Wednesday are not final. MSCS students are now in the retake window, which runs May 24-26. (The Daily Memphian file)
The district has 8,500 third graders across both district-managed and charter schools. That means that around 6,494 of them did not score proficient on the test.

Once an intern, he never left, joining the staff full-time in 2022 as an education reporter.
