Wordrow Top Story: Bartlett considers leaving Memphis library system

Welcome to Wordrow, a game in which you have six tries to guess the words using the keypad below. It’s sort of similar to a popular word game, but it definitely has its key differences.

First step, guess a word.

If a letter on the keypad turns yellow, the letter is in the word but in the wrong spot. If it turns green, it’s in the right spot. If it turns gray, it’s not part of the word.

And don’t worry, for the purposes of this game, each word is considered its own entity, so if a letter turns yellow, it’s in that word and not the other.

An additional hint: The phrase is a concise re-headlining of a recent Daily Memphian story.

In this case, the City of Bartlett, the last of the suburbs in Shelby County still connected to the Memphis Public Libraries system, is considering switching management of its branch library. Germantown and Collierville left the MPL in 2004.

At issue currently is the $94,000 Bartlett pays MPL annually to maintain its book collection. The city’s chief administrative officer says MPL hasn’t been able to put new titles on Bartlett shelves.

Can you re-headline this story?

Thanks for playing Wordrow. If you want to tell us what you think, just fill in the form that pops up when you complete the puzzle.
