Memphis ranks second among cities with highest STD rates
In terms of new HIV infections, the Memphis region also ranks second-highest in the nation, after Miami, among metropolitan areas, according to the Shelby County Health Department. (The Daily Memphian file)
After topping last year’s list of the 100 U.S. cities with the highest rates of sexually transmitted diseases, Memphis is in second place on this year’s list with Philadelphia taking the top spot.
