Sugarmon questions Bonner’s timeline for juvenile facility transfer
The process of handing over operations of the Youth Justice and Education Center to the Shelby County Juvenile Court will not be completed this year, according to Judge Tarik Sugarmon.(Brad Vest/Special to The Daily Memphian file)
Shelby County Juvenile Court Judge Tarik Sugarmon anticipates the transition process will not be completed this year due to the “intricate nature of the transition process,” according to an emailed statement.
