Proposed LGBTQ+ pride ‘flag bill’ likely dead in Tennessee Legislature
The Tennessee House of Representatives bill that would have banned LGBTQ+ pride flags was sponsored by state Rep. Gino Bulso, R-Brentwood, who specifically stated earlier this year the bill was meant to target the LGBTQ+ pride flag. (The Daily Memphian file)
Although the Tennessee House of Representatives passed a similar bill in March, both houses would have to approve such a bill before it could head to the governor for his signature.
