Memphis Grizzlies star guard Ja Morant has selected Mike Miller with LIFT Sports Management as his new agent, according to a report from ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.
Earlier this month, Morant left Jim Tanner of Tandem Sports + Entertainment. Tanner had represented Morant throughout his NBA career.
Miller has been an agent since 2021 after concluding his 17-year NBA career, including his six years (2003-08, 2013-14) playing in Memphis. In 2006 he won the NBA Sixth Man of the Year award. He played in 1,032 games and averaged 10.6 points per game.
Miller’s highest-profile client is Orlando Magic star Paolo Banchero.
Miller, 44, also has a coaching background. He spent two seasons as an assistant with the Memphis Tigers men’s basketball program (2018-2020) and in 2021 he led Houston High to its first boys state basketball title.

Miller was also at Morant’s pickup game fight in July 2022 and provided testimony through a recorded deposition in the case.
Morant, a two-time NBA All-Star, only played nine games during the 2023-24 season due to an NBA suspension and a shoulder injury.
