Four bar shootings in August so far. Is there a solution?

Gunfire has interrupted nights of revelry at Memphis nightclubs at least four times this month. Two people have died, and 10 more have been injured in the shootings.

Bar and restaurant shootings happen every day around the country, not just in Memphis, according to one expert. But there are steps that can be taken to prevent them.

He moved to public safety in 2023, where he covered some of the city’s biggest court cases, including the criminal trials for those charged in the deaths of Tyré Nichols and rapper Young Dolph.
