Vincent Clay has lived long enough to know that at some point a guy needs to live peacefully with himself.
At 67, a couple major stints in life over, Clay is out to earn his bachelor’s degree in fine art, starting Monday, Aug. 26, the first day of fall semester at the University of Memphis.
“It’s something I’ve always wanted to do,” he said against a sea of his freshmen counterparts, reveling in the experiences the year will bring. “Art has always been my passion.”
