Clarence Jones of the Tigers’ 1973 NCAA runner-up team dies

“You’ll hear it from everybody, but Clarence just was a great guy, soft-spoken, good person — just always had a great spirit about him,” said Murry Bartow, son of then-Tigers coach Gene Bartow.
