Audubon’s clubhouse could get $14M upgrade

Memphis’ ongoing renewal of its public golf courses could get even more prominent.
The City of Memphis and First Tee of Tennessee, the foundation that helps grow the game of golf through youth programming, plan to partner on a $12 million to $14 million new clubhouse at The Links at Audubon, the newly renovated city course in East Memphis.
In an interview last week, Memphis Parks director Nick Walker said the city plans to start work on the new clubhouse in 2025. It has allocated $6 million in bond dollars in the next two years’ budgets to pay its portion. First Tee of Tennessee plans on fundraising the rest, Walker said.
