Memphis linebacker Chandler Martin had three options after the Tigers beat West Virginia in the Dec. 17 Scooter’s Coffee Frisco Bowl, capping an 11-2 season.
He could have played out his final year of collegiate eligibility with Memphis next season, entered the NCAA transfer portal or declared for the 2025 NFL Draft.
Martin announced Dec. 23 that he planned to pursue his NFL dreams.
“We are extremely excited about his next step,” said Jeff Martin, Chandler’s father.
