‘90 for 90’ exhibit to tell new stories of Elvis Presley’s life
Artifacts detailing Elvis Presley’s life will re-emerge in a new “90 for 90” exhibition on Jan. 8, celebrating the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll’s 90th birthday.
The yearlong exhibit, featuring 90 unique items like car receipts and a flight certificate for his dog, will provide a fresh perspective on Presley’s life and focus on lesser-known stories.
“We kind of tell his story at the mansion and (Elvis Presley’s Memphis),” said Angie Marchese, vice president of archives and exhibits for Elvis Presley’s Graceland. “So how could we tell a 90th birthday story in a unique twist? And that’s where we came up with ‘90 for 90.’”
