Tigers Basketball Insider: Hardaway needs PJ Haggerty ‘out of his shell’

PJ Haggerty is on his way to becoming a household name in college basketball.
About halfway through the season, Memphis’ 6-foot-3 combo guard has been the most valuable player for Coach Penny Hardaway’s No. 19 Tigers (12-3, 2-0 AAC).
Haggerty is averaging a team-high 22.2 points to go with 5.7 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 2 steals per game while shooting 50% from the floor and 44.7% from 3-point range. His scoring average ranks No. 4 in the country.
