Three candidates are seeking the Ward 3 alderman seat in Olive Branch, including the city’s former police chief who retired after 13 years, a career that could provide a strategic edge in the campaign.

Don Gammage, the former police chief, is facing Mike Hutchins and Planning Commissioner Dion M. Jones for the open seat on the city’s Board of Aldermen.
