SEATTLE — Though Memphis’ season came to a disappointing end in a loss to Colorado State in the NCAA Tournament’s first round, Coach Penny Hardaway’s team could be set up well for the future.
With the No. 5 seed Tigers (29-6) falling to the No. 12 seed Rams (26-9) 78-70 Friday afternoon at Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle, an offseason in which a handful of players have key decisions to make has officially launched.
Of the 12 players on Memphis’ roster, seven could potentially return for at least another season.
