Memphis City Council votes on permits for on-street parking
Memphis City Council takes a third and final vote Tuesday, March 25, on an ordinance that would establish a parking permit process to require a permit for on-street parking in areas where there is a lack of other parking. (Mark Weber/The Daily Memphian)
If 75% of the property owners in a defined area sign a petition, parking on their streets would be allowed only with a $50 permit with some exemptions.
