Would-be gardeners can grow grasslands anywhere — even in pots.
“You don’t have to have lawn to do it,” says Christina Koether. “You can do it really anywhere.”
Christina Koether has made it part of her life’s mission to bring back grasslands or meadows, which she describes as open spaces with herbaceous plants that are not trees.
“There’s a lot of things that only grow in meadows, and a lot of birds that rely on meadows,” Koether said.
