Cooling center opens Downtown

For anyone who needs to escape the heat Sunday, July 20, the Hospitality Hub at 590 Washington Ave. Downtown will be open as a cooling center 11 a.m.-7 p.m., officials said.
Transportation will be provided by MATA; requests can be made by calling 901-486-0939 during the cooling center’s hours. All are welcome. Guests will need to check in upon arrival, but IDs are not required.
