Overton Park 9 unveils Memphis golf history walkway

Parks Dixon walked the pathway from the ninth green of the Overton Park 9 golf course to the front of the clubhouse on a cool Friday morning in Memphis.
He panned his eyes across the names on the freshly washed bricks in front of him, stopping at least five times before he took a long pause at one brick near the end.
Every time Dixon makes the short trip under the trees and up the incline, he notices something different. But there’s one etched block in particular that means a lot to him.
