TROY, Ala. — The Memphis Tigers’ defense allowed 313 yards in the first half against Georgia State last week and in the three halves since then, the Tigers have allowed just 188 total yards.

Troy only gained 112 yards against Memphis in the Tigers’ 28-7 victory at Veterans Memorial Stadium on Saturday.

The defense has earned at least one takeaway in each game this season, including Jalen Bell’s interception when Troy had the ball on the 5-yard line in the final seconds on Saturday.
