Alexander to receive Tennessee Bar Association’s President Award

U.S. Sen. Lamar Alexander will receive the President Award from the Tennessee Bar Association Friday, June 14, in honor of his decades of public service to Tennessee.

Alexander said he won’t seek another term in 2020 and will retire from the U.S. Senate when his term is up.

The award will be given at the Lawyers Luncheon at noon Friday during the TBA Annual Convention in Nashville. Alexander also will also be recognized by the Tennessee Judicial Conference at the same event.
