Blackburn and Hagerty investigated after Jan. 6 US Capitol riots

U.S. Sens. Marsha Blackburn and Bill Hagerty of Tennessee were among nine Republican senators whose phone records the FBI reviewed in 2023.
And since the revelation earlier this month, both have been vocal about holding the Biden administration accountable for what they say is a violation of their privacy and a partisan attack by a Democratic White House.
The review of who they called, who called them and how long they talked during the days immediately before and after the Jan. 6, 2021, U.S. Capitol riot was part of the FBI’s 2023 “Arctic Frost” investigation.
