Aksana Vasilyeva made perhaps the biggest mistake of the day Saturday before heading out to India Fest: she ate at home.

Vasilyeva almost hung her head in shame at the admission, saying she was feeling woozy and needed to eat. She hoped her hunger would return before she left so she could sample some of the mouthwatering cuisine from an estimated 45 food vendors at the annual festival, now in its 20th year, held Nov. 1 at the Agricenter International.
