Highland Heights church property draws interest from buyers
A cyclist waits for traffic to clear at the corner of Highland and Summer in front of the Highland Heights United Methodist Church, which recently closed after 106 years. The Memphis United Methodist Conference, which owns the property, is hoping that the church building's corner location will be an asset while trying to sell. (Jim Weber/Daily Memphian)
Methodist church officials will soon list for sale the just-closed Highland Heights United Methodist Church building. The property anchors a corner of two busy streets, which should draw interest from prospective buyers.
