Silverfield’s exit puts Tigers in tough situation heading into early signing period

The Memphis Tigers are heading into college football’s early signing period, which begins Wednesday, Dec. 3, without a head coach.
Former Memphis coach Ryan Silverfield accepted the head coaching job at Arkansas three days before the early period was scheduled to start.
