1 in 4 Memphis kids can ride a bus to school. That’s unlikely to expand this year.

Memphis-Shelby County Schools board members directed the district to expand bus access to immigrant students who may be staying home from school to avoid interactions with the Memphis Safe Task Force. But that bus route expansion is unlikely for this semester.
